Disability Action Yorkshire is a local charity, established in 1937, which is positive about disabled people. We provide services that enable disabled people to live the lifestyle of their choosing, whatever that might be.

We have a range of services, including Spot On, a training and development service, providing the necessary skills and confidence to join the workforce; 34 Claro Road, a residential care home for younger adults with physical disabilities; and Alpha Care, a home care service providing care and support in the home, 24 hours a day. We focus on independence and inclusion and are driven by the needs and wishes of disabled people.

We are always looking for fundraising support and donations but there are also ways in which WE can help YOU.

As part of our social enterprise scheme, we run a CRB Umbrella Service, undertake contract work, such as packing and mailing, within Spot On and have a training and meeting room for hire.

By supporting us or using any of our services, you are helping local disabled people to achieve their potential, gain confidence and independence and live their lives to the full.
